My BNSF Transformation
A challenge was set forth on another site, to take a kit and it's pieces and make something different.
I chose a model I have quite a few of, Lego's BNSF Locomotive and from the get go, decided to build a crane from a train
I did do some research on line and found an actual BNSF Crane, then went fro there.
The whole operation took about 11 hours, stopping for Hot Dogs included.
I was actually surprised with the turn-out, and only had six pieces left over
We should do this here some day, I mean a contest to transform a Lego kit to something else, I promise, no matter who wins, we'll all be winners
The whole concept is really a whole lot of fun, I had a great time and must say it was one of the best building experiences I ever had, you just might say the same when all is built.
OH and BTW, the crane has many movements as well
