We need to revive this place!

As everyone proably has seen, the activity has gone down a TON. Come on guys! We need to revive the forum! Any ideas? How about a party!

Well, we've been discussing in the Mod area on what we are going to do.. We probably are going to get more members on soon as most of you guys in America break up for summer this month!

That's good. Any big events planned? That could create some activity.

Dis may sound stupid. Howz bout a GFX contest? Everyone makes GFX and judges jude the epicness of dem?

Yeah maybe that could work. We just had a banner contest though.

As for a graphic contest, how about a ranks design one. Our current ranks are all default ones and it would be cool for us to have unquie ranks. By ranks I mean by the image under avatars, like mod, admin etc.

@You: I don't know about parties, we've already had one in like.... umm, either March or April.

GFX is a term used by many not just people from SMBX I should point out.

I think a custom rank contest would be great! When should we do it? Next month?

Are the ranks still going to be based on Post Counts? If so you need to raise it a lot higher!

I think it should be held June. I also have an idea! I think each rank post count required should be doubled. Or tripled. Unless these ranks post counts requirements are already doubled.

Say for example, it was like this:
1st-100
2nd-200
3rd-400
4th-800
5th-1600
6th-3200

Like it?

Good idea, but I think for new posters it would be discouraging if you had to post 100 times to get to the first rank. I think I would feel that way.

Maybe have a newbie rank then at around 50 posts have another rank. Or have two ranks one at 10 posts and one at 50 then goes up like in post above.

150
300
600
1000

How about that? We can change it later. Right now it only goes up to 700 posts

What do all of you think of having a rank designing contest? This would be where people can submit graphics that they create which could be used in place of our default posting ranks.
(For those that don't understand what rank I'm talking about, its the posting thing underneath your username on the right side of any post you make.)

Sounds sweet! We should have a creation contest where each creation must be representing something about Halloween. And then there will be prizes.

Yeah, I like that idea! I might be able to start setting up stuff for that this weekend.
